			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This weekend, Maria Peiser, the lovely wife of our Commercial Director, Graham is taking part in the Virgin London Marathon.</p>
<p>Maria is taking on the gruelling 26 miles and 385 yards, passing through the streets of London from Blackheath to the famous finish line at The Mall to fundraise for the PSP Assocation.</p>
<p>The PSPA is dedicated to the support of people with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and the related disease Cortico Basal Degeneration (CBD), and those who care for them.</p>

<p>Our activities to ensure continuity of supply during the games includes:</p>
<p>&gt; Monitoring London 2012 &amp; TfL official websites for news on road closures etc.</p>
<p>&gt; Preparing action plan to ensure continuity of service and supply can be maintained.</p>
<p>&gt; Preparing to change hours of working for key staff in order that travel to/from work is possible.</p>
<p>&gt; Preparing I.T. links so that key staff can work offsite in the event of travel problems.</p>
<p>&gt; Reviewing client product usage reports on most frequently used items.</p>
<p>&gt; From usage reports advising on stock deliveries to cover requirements for the duration of the period of disruption.</p>
<p>&gt; Establishing whether or not our clients can take deliveries between the hours of 22.00 and 06.00 in areas of road closures.</p>
<p>&gt; Preparing Total Office van drivers for deliveries between 22.00 and 06.00am.</p>
<p>&gt; Making contingency for emergency deliveries by other means (e.g. by foot) during normal business hours.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last year hundreds of thousands of people took part in Wear It Pink by wearing an item of pink and each donating £2, raising a staggering £2.5 million for breast cancer research.</p>
<p>Total Office joined in to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Campaign.</p>
<p>Everyone got into the pink spirit of it by wearing something or having their nails painted pink.</p>
<p>We also had fundraising prize draw won by Michael Chittock.</p>
<p>One of our directors even went over to the shops to buy a pink shirt on the day as he had nothing in his extensive wardrobe!</p>
<p>We raised £64.78.</p>

<p>Despite significant improvements in recent years, London’s air pollution is still a concern. So much so, that from 3 January 2012 the LEZ emissions standards will become more stringent. More vehicles will be affected, and those that are already affected will need to meet tighter emissions standards.</p>
